Special Auditor Training Course Scheduled for Puerto Montt

Due to enthusiastic support for group and multi-site zone cluster, or “barrio,” certifications, the Global Aquaculture Alliance’s Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) division is offering a special auditor training course for its group and barrio certification programs.

The course will be held at Hotel Manquehue in Puerto Montt, Chile, from March 30 to 31.

This course will be offered to a select group of auditors who are qualified to perform group and barrio audits. In addition to auditors, the course is also open to industry observers, including government officials, producers and other industry stakeholders, who wish to learn more about the group and barrio certification programs and the auditing process.

Group and barrio certifications offer potentially significant audit cost savings compared to single facility certifications.

The course fee is USD $250 per person and, for companies with more than one particpant, USD $70 per additional participant. The fee covers all course materials, lunch and coffee breaks on course days.
