Vega Salmon’s Processing Plant First in Germany to be Certified to SPS

Vega Salmon’s processing plant has been certified to the Global Seafood Alliance’s Seafood Processing Standard (SPS), the first-ever seafood processing plant in Germany to earn the distinction, the nonprofit organization announced on May 31. Based in Kolding, Denmark, Vega Salmon’s processing plant is located just across the border in Handewitt, Germany, and its Atlantic salmon

Hong Kong & Macau to Celebrate World Oceans Day with BAP-Certified Seafood

More than 30 leading restaurants and hotels in Hong Kong and Macau have created special menus highlighting responsibly sourced seafood in celebration of World Oceans Day to show their commitment toward eating responsible seafood. Starting June 6, restaurants participating in the week-long event will serve seafood from certified aquaculture operations and biologically sustainable fishing operations.
