Hong Kong & Macau to Celebrate World Oceans Day with BAP-Certified Seafood

More than 30 leading restaurants and hotels in Hong Kong and Macau have created special menus highlighting responsibly sourced seafood in celebration of World Oceans Day to show their commitment toward eating responsible seafood. Starting June 6, restaurants participating in the week-long event will serve seafood from certified aquaculture operations and biologically sustainable fishing operations.

The 60-day public comment period for the Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) biosecurity area management standards, released in late November, has been extended by 14 days, the Global Aquaculture Alliance has announced.
