Auditor Course to Focus on Group, Cluster Certifications

The Global Aquaculture Alliance’s (GAA) Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) division is holding a special BAP auditor training course for its group and cluster farm programs.

The course will be held at the Lake Union Courtyard Marriott in Seattle, Wash., USA, from Sept. 6 to 7, 2017.

The course will be offered to senior auditors who have the experience required to perform group and cluster farm audits. The course is also open to industry observers including producers, government officials and other industry stakeholders who wish to learn more about the group and cluster farm auditing process. Group and cluster certifications offer potentially significant audit cost savings versus single facility certifications.

The course costs $500 for auditors and $250 for observers. It covers course materials, lunch and coffee breaks on course days.
