GAA To Hold Membership, Update Meeting At Seafood Expo North America

The Global Aquaculture Alliance is holding a membership and update meeting at Seafood Expo North America (SENA) in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, in Room 205C of the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center (BCEC) on Monday, March 16, from 3 to 5 p.m.

GAA is exhibiting at SENA in booth No. 481.

Both the membership meeting and the update meeting are open to the public; all are invited to attend. Coffee and tea will be served.

Among the topics to be discussed at the GAA membership and update meeting are the new iBAP program, the Responsible Aquaculture Foundation’s new fund and the latest developments in animal health and welfare.

Also to be unveiled are the preliminary results of a consumer survey administered by The Fishin’ Company, in conjunction with GAA, and the winners of GAA’s “Commitment to Excellence” awards. The companies are Northern Harvest Sea Farms Group, Saota Foods JSC (Fimex VN) Group, Trang Corp Group, Seafresh Industries Public Group, Pakfood Group, Thai Union Frozen Group and Marine Harvest Canada Group.
