Amazon, Costco Mexico, Walmart Among Marketplace Leaders Confirmed for 2025 Responsible Seafood Summit

The Global Seafood Alliance (GSA) is pleased to announce that leading marketplace representatives across retail and foodservice will be in attendance at this year’s Responsible Seafood Summit, taking place from September 29-October 2 in Cartagena, Colombia.

Confirmed attendees include representatives from Amazon, Bolton Food, Captain D’s, Cencosud, Costco Mexico, Giant Eagle, HEB Mexico, Red Lobster, Southeastern Grocers and Walmart. The participation of these marketplace leaders underscores Summit’s role as a global convener, bringing together stakeholders from across the industry. By convening producers, suppliers, buyers, NGOs, academics and government representatives, the event fosters collaboration and solutions for the most pressing challenges facing the seafood sector.

“Having so many leading marketplace representatives join us in Cartagena is a testament to the importance of the Summit as a platform for collaboration,” said Steve Hart, senior VP of market development. “Their participation helps ensure that conversations span the entire seafood supply chain – from production to the point of sale – and that we can continue to drive progress toward a more responsible seafood industry.”

Cartagena, a historic, culturally rich port city with deep ties to the seafood industry, will provide a vibrant backdrop for the event.
