5 Ways to Connect with GSA at Seafood Expo Global 2026

Seafood Expo Global returns to Barcelona April 21-23, 2026, at Fira de Barcelona, and Global Seafood Alliance is looking forward to another packed week of conversations, collaboration and connection.

As the world’s largest seafood trade event, Seafood Expo Global (SEG) brings together every corner of the supply chain. Whether you’re focused on certification, traceability, market access or emerging regulatory trends, we’d love to connect while we’re onsite.

Here are seven ways to engage with GSA this year:

How to meet European consumers’ expectations: new insights and real-world responses

📍 Wednesday, April 22 | 12:30-13:15

This session is open to all and does not require an SEG conference badge.

European seafood consumers are evolving—and their expectations are reshaping the marketplace. This session will explore recently released GlobeScan research on consumer attitudes toward seafood in France, Spain, and the United Kingdom, followed by a discussion with a marketplace representative and a Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP)-certified producer. In the discussion, we will examine what the data means for the European market and how third-party certification and responsible practices can help meet consumer expectations and build trust.

Coffee and refreshments will be provided after the session.
