Our Certification Programs

GSA advances responsible seafood practices worldwide through education, advocacy and its two third-party certification programs, Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) for farm-raised seafood, and Best Seafood Practices (BSP) for wild-caught seafood.

The only seafood-specific certification program that is capable of certifying every step in the aquaculture production chain.

The BSP program provides assurances for safe working conditions aboard fishing vessels as well as for responsible practices at processing plants.
