I have been actively involved in the commercial aquaculture sector since the early 1970s. I have worked on or managed fish and shrimp farms in the USA (including Hawaii), Ecuador, Mexico and Belize. In 2002 I became an auditor for the Aquaculture Certification Council (ACC) – which late became Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP). This led to several positions within BAP.
